An Amazing Sound and Light Display
The Enchanted Forest is Scotland’s premier sound and light event and one of the main events in the Pitlochry calendar. Set amidst the stunning Autumn woodland of Faskally Wood in Highland Perthshire this really is an event not to be missed.
Three times winner of Best Cultural Event at the Scottish Event Awards and recently crowned winner of the Rural Tourism & Hospitality Award at the 2016 Scottish Rural Awards, you can be sure of a warm welcome at this woodland wonderland that dazzles and delights.
Each year the wonderful display is based upon a different theme, so each years show is unique. This year’s show has been named ‘Oir an Uisge’ which is Gaelic for ‘Edge of the Water’ using Loch Dunmore at the centre of Faskally Wood for inspiration.Following work by the forestry commission to remove non-native species a lot more of Loch Dunmore will be visible this year leading to exciting ideas by the talented development team. Also available this year due to popular demand is the Enchanted Story Telling Yurt, with increased space, allowing more great story telling to take place.
